If you have a Stein Mart in your area go there. They usually have cashmere.

Vintage or “newly used” shops - not Salvation Army…selective stores that sell only certain sizes, brands, etc.
In Los Angeles, there are tons. You just need to have the time to spend looking. I have 3 that I spent between $20 - $40 for each one.

the best place is honestly mexico, my aunt went there and got authentic cashmere sweaters, scarfs, etc. for $5, u’ll have to barter a bit but they’ll sell to u for $5 if ur stern in that price
